Your files

When you choose a file, your browser reads it, checks it and makes the fixed copy on your device. Files are never uploaded. The file, the results and the fixed copy are not sent to us or anyone else, and not stored. They are kept in memory only while the page is open. Close the tab or press “Clear data” and they are gone. The fixed copy is saved only when you click “Download fixed CSV”, and then only to your own device.

You can check this: load the page, turn off your network connection, and the tool still works.

Analytics

This site uses cookieless, self-hosted analytics (Umami). It sets no cookies and does not identify you. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, nothing is recorded. It records only:

• the page address, without the query string or the part after “#”
• the referring page (site and path only)
• browser, operating system and device type (from the screen size)
• country
• these named events, with no other data: sample_used, file_loaded, results_rendered, csv_downloaded

Analytics never receives your file, its name, its contents, its row count or any result of the check.

Cookies and storage

This site sets no cookies. It does not use local storage or any other browser storage for your file or your results.

Hosting

Host: Cloudflare Pages. Like any web server, the host may keep standard request logs (such as IP address, time and page requested) for security and operations.
